About Mercy Mall Serve

Join us one Saturday morning to serve those in need through Mercy Mall. This is a great church-wide service opportunity for anyone, everyone and especially families!

Upon arrival, you will be trained for one of the following jobs:
• Assistant Shopper—this person will help shoppers by working from a list to find needed items.
• Sorting—this person will help sort through bags of donated items and will display, arrange, organize and hang those items.
• Unloading—this job is a little more physical as this person will help unload donations from cars.

Each serve session is from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM on the following Saturdays: April 13, June 1, or July 27. Please plan to meet at Mercy Mall, 7519 Whitepine Road, RVA. For parking, please follow the parking directions and carpool with others if possible. Mercy Mall shares the parking lot with another business, so they ask we please be mindful and leave parking available for that business.

Donations are always needed. Mercy Mall's website lists specific donations they accept at certain times of the year. Visit: www.mercymallva.org.

What is Mercy Mall?

Mercy Mall is a FREE boutique where families and individuals can shop for clothing, shoes, housewares and baby items. We also offer a few food and toiletry items to each family during their appointment. We are not a monthly or regular “thrift store” experience but rather a place for those in crisis situations to get their immediate needs met.

To serve the hungry, the homeless and the hurting by filling practical needs, providing resources, and building relationships.

To provide compassion and hope to the hurting.
